Cole Fannin grew up in Fort Payne, AL and then later graduated from Armuchee High School in 2003, after his family moved to Rome, GA in 2001.He attended Auburn University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business Finance. With a passion in entrepreneurship, business, and finance, he later pursued an MBA and graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2015. Cole and his wife, Nichole, have lived in Carrollton, GA for the past 12 years, along with their 3 children, Adalyn, Dalton, and Dixon. Cole and his family are members of First Baptist Church-Carrollton, where Cole serves as a Deacon. In his free time, you can catch him coaching his oldest son’s baseball team and his daughter’s softball team.
Before becoming a licensed mortgage broker, Cole spent time working in corporate sales and business development in both the OEM sector along with the steel industry. Most recently, he served as a business consultant with the UGA Small Business Development Center at the University of West Georgia.
While his experience helped him gain a better understanding of the overall lending cycle and process, he also learned that mortgage lending is not just about interest rates and monthly payments. Rather, it’s about listening, educating, understanding the goals of the borrower, and using strategy to best help the borrower or client reach those goals.
